Our editorial mission
AI News Today is an independent UK publication. Our mission is to provide accurate, timely, and useful coverage of artificial intelligence for a UK audience — clearly, honestly, and without commercial bias.
How our articles are produced
Our editorial team researches, writes, and edits every article published on ainewstoday.co.uk. Each piece goes through the following steps:
- Research — Our team identifies the most significant AI news stories of the day from credible published sources.
- Writing — Articles are written by our named editorial staff with a focus on accuracy, UK relevance, and clear explanation.
- Verification — Every specific factual claim is verified against a named source before publication.
- Publication — Articles are published under the byline of the responsible editor.
Source standards
- Every specific factual claim must be attributed to a named, identifiable source.
- We prefer primary sources — company announcements, academic papers, official data — over secondary sources.
- We link directly to primary sources wherever possible so readers can verify claims themselves.
- We do not republish press releases verbatim. All source material is independently synthesised and rewritten.
Independence and conflicts of interest
- Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over editorial content or coverage decisions.
- We do not accept payment for positive coverage of any company, product, or technology.
- If we cover a product in which the publication has a commercial relationship, we disclose this clearly in the article.
Corrections and updates
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as identified with a correction note at the bottom of the article.
- Significant errors are corrected with a prominent note at the top of the article.
- We do not delete published articles to conceal errors.
